EnClass ("we", "our", or "us") operates the EnClass mobile application and platform designed for school management, coaching centers, teachers, parents, and students. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting the personal data of our users.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information necessary to provide institutional educational management services, including:

  • Account Credentials: Username, full name, email address, and role (Admin, Teacher, Parent, Student).
  • Academic Data: Student attendance records, timetable schedules, exam grades, and subject assignments.
  • Notification Identifiers: Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) device tokens to deliver push notifications regarding school announcements.
  • Contact Information: Phone numbers or emails provided by administrators for parent-teacher communication.

3. How We Use Your Data

  • To provide core app functionality such as displaying timetables, attendance, and marksheets.
  • To deliver real-time school announcements and push notifications to parents and teachers.
  • To allow school administrators to manage teacher payroll and student fee structures.
  • We do not sell any personal data or student records to third parties or advertising networks.

4. Data Security & Encryption

All data transmitted between the EnClass mobile app and our servers is encrypted in transit using industry-standard Secure Sockets Layer (SSL / HTTPS) protocol. Access to school databases is restricted through authenticated role-based security controls.

5. Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act, 2023 Compliance

EnClass strictly complies with India's Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act, 2023 in processing student, parent, and educator data:

  • Data Processor Role: Educational institutions act as Data Fiduciaries who determine the purpose of processing. EnClass operates strictly as a Data Processor bound by institutional agreement and statutory data protection duties.
  • Protection of Minors (Section 9): Personal data of student minors (children under 18) is processed solely under verifiable authorization from their educational institution or parent/guardian for legitimate educational purposes. We strictly prohibit tracking, targeted behavioral profiling, or advertising targeted at children.
  • Data Principal Rights: Parents, students, and educators (Data Principals) have the right to request access to personal data, request correction of inaccurate records, or seek erasure of data upon leaving an institution.
  • Grievance Redressal: Any data privacy grievances under DPDP Act can be addressed directly to our Data Privacy Officer at enclass.edu@gmail.com.

6. Your Rights & Account Deletion
